Displaying a graphic image into a diagram
How to display a graphic image (PNG, JPG, GIF, BMP...) into a diagram?
A graphic image can be displayed on a diagram thanks to a boundary element which plays the role of an image container.
The process to follow is explained below:
- First, insert a Boundary element into the diagram from the Common pane of the Toolbox.

dialog is then displayed; keep the default values and click on theOK
button. - Next, open the
Image Manager
dialog by right-clicking on the boundary element to display the context menu and then, by selecting theAppearence | Select Alternate Image...
menu option. You can also open it using the keyboard shortcutCtrl + Maj + W
. - Now, click on the
Add New....
button to import and add an appropriate image to theLoaded Images
list. - Finally, select the newly added image available in the list and click on the
OK
button to insert it into the Boundary.
